September 7th -- Wilson County Republican HQs. The office will reopen in LaVernia. More information about place, time and volunteers will be provided later.

- September 11th -- Poth's Ride to Remember. The Wilson County Republican Women (WCRW) will be hosting a water/refreshment station for the bicycle ride. and we need volunteers to work at the station and/or provide refreshments. The refreshments will be peanut butter and honey sandwiches on whole wheat bread (cut in half and placed in a baggie), medium-sized oranges (cut in quarters and placed in a baggie), and bananas. Our station will be located at Hwy 97 and FM 1344, just south of the Floresville Park, and we need to be in place by 7:30 a.m. When the date gets closer, we will send out another email. Please let me know if you can help with this project.

- September 21st--WC Republican Party meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., in the Courtroom of the Justice Center in Floresville. Eric Opeila, our new State Republican Executive Committeeman (replacing John Larrison), will be the guest speaker and will present a GOTV and get all of us inspired to work for the November election.

Eric Opeila, our new State Republican Executive Committeeman (replacing John Larrison) will be the guest speaker at the Wilson County Republican Party meeting on September 21^st, 6:30 PM at the courtroom at the Justice Center in Floresville. He will be presenting a GOTV and getting us all inspired to work for the November election.

And, we will be reopening the office for the Wilson County Republican Party the day after Labor Day and it will again be in La Vernia, but a different location. As soon as I have an address will be in touch and hopefully you all will be excited about giving some time to this important event.

September 28th -- WCRW's September (daytime) meeting. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. for lunch and begin the meeting at 11:45 a.m.

- September 28th -- WCRW's September (nighttime) meeting. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Courtroom of the Justice Center in Floresville. The guest speaker will be Cathie Adams, the former State Republican Chair, who will speak on "Getting the Vote Out." All Republicans are encouraged to attend this meeting.

Cathie Adams, the former State Republican Chair, will be our guest speaker for the Wilson County Republican Women at our evening meeting on September 28th. We would like to invite the Wilson County Republican Party members to attend to hear Cathie speak on "Getting The Vote Out". The location and time is the courtroom at the Criminal Justice Center in Floresville at 6:30 pm.
